Posters shape
Essentially being an advertising support before becoming a collection item, movie posters have been used. Some of them are brand new but some are altered or "tired".
To indicate their state of conservation, we use a classification cotation in three levels (A, B and C), the first two levels being subdivided into three sublevels.
| A+ | Mint shape |
| A | In perfect shape (posters on linen usually belong to this category) |
| A- | Good shape with very slight alteration (pin marks...) |
| B+ | Good shape with minor alteration |
| B | Good shape with slight alteration (small wrinkles, little tear...) |
| B- | Good shape with medium alteration (possible miss, little jaunissures, little spots...) |
| C | Poor shape: meant for posters in need of restoration or mounting on linen (this level is rarely used) |
